I’ve just got back from a brilliant few days in Las Vegas.

it is a totally incredible place, in case you haven’t been there. In fact it is completely difficult to describe it if you haven’t been there – it is like aliens landed and designed this absolutely way out place that is like some sort of fantasy put into realness.

And Vegas – it’s not just about gambling, it is also an first-class place for shows, food and incredible hotels – for outstanding value.

Whilst I was there I was totally fascinated by why people would sit for hours and hours on slot machines. I mean at least with some of the gaming tables it is not just about luck, but the slot machines – that is surely about luck?

 Although, saying that, some time ago I trained as a Firewalk teacher with Tolly Burkan, one part of the training involved going to a gambling casino and using the slot machines as a biofeedback device to channel out negative emotions. He had a philosophy that human emotions might influence electronic devices – it is the case that apparently some research has indicated this as a possibility. So that is all about that you have to pick a machine you ‘feel’ is ready to pay out and then give it a go. If you it’s not a win, you have to mull over about any negative emotions you are holding onto and let go of them prior to having another go – it’s as basic as that!

I don’t know if it’s completely the case, but it is a brilliant way to become witting of any negative emotions you’re holding onto and releasing them. And the strange topic was that in a group of about 20 people nobody lost any money and a couple of people made a few hundred dollars!

Well it’s the same in business, negative emotions might totally get in the way of getting outstanding results. And if that is the case, then letting go of interfering negative emotions is the real way to create good wins!

For example, I work many with people devising presentations – although they will have an good presentation designed, they often give a totally presentation when they deliver it!

How come?

Well it is about negative emotions – fear, anxiety, stress. All these   something – which is going to interfere with giving an brilliant performance.

If you’re feeling afraid and you start to give your presentation, it’s absolutely going to get in the way of doing an outstanding job, isn’t it?

In a similar way, if it’s excellence in getting results in business, it’s stress that is going to get in the way. I had a client who was an brilliant stock market trader – he loved his job, but one day woke up and just had enough! The stress built up over time and that’s the thing that on the spur of the moment drove him over the edge.

Unfortunately it’s often that we’re un mindful of the impact of the negative emotions until it is too late.

But it is that wittingness that will save us.

For me, I found NLP is the way to become mindful of negative emotions and release them to get outstanding results.

NLP training is the key to excellent business because as you learn NLP you master your emotions and therefore your life!
